We serve over 32,000 meals to 300 clients each year. With the help from our volunteers, we can deliver meals and smiles to people in our community who are simply trying to live at home independently for as long as they can.

It has been a year and a half since I started my career at Meals on Wheels and More. Mostly I have been a driver on a couple of routes per week. The problem of being a driver is, of course, not being able to interact with some of our needy clients. Occasionally I have been a runner on some routes, and the satisfaction I get from seeing our clients who are extremely grateful for our services is most satisfying.

Our Screening Process

To help ensure the safety of our Clients, staff and fellow volunteers, all prospective volunteers will go through a screening process that includes:

Interview
Reference Checks
Police Background Check

Training and Support

Get on-the-job training by experienced staff and volunteers plus ongoing support.
