We like to think that we not only nourishing bodies, but souls too.

(Shirley Chan)

It has been a year and a half since I started my career at Meals on Wheels and More. Mostly I have been a driver on a couple of routes per week. The problem of being a driver is, of course, not being able to interact with some of our needy clients. Occasionally I have been a runner on some routes, and the satisfaction I get from seeing our clients who are extremely grateful for our services is most satisfying.

"Meals on Wheels and More is a great place to build your team building, communication and flexibility skills. It is also a place to meet people of different background and be involved in your community.  I felt Meals on Wheels and More was always a positive and a friendly place to volunteer and I believe this contributed to me being hired by the York Regional Police Force."
